Authors then give a 15 minute talk about their book and themselves, the writing and publishing process or a short reading from the book. After all the authors presentations there is a time for individual questions and book signings with the authors.

Expect 2 - 3 authors to attend each month and the evening to wrap up around 8 PM. Dress is Aloha casual wear.

Carol Alena Aronoff, Ph.D. is a psychologist, teacher and poet.  Her work has appeared in numerous journals and anthologies and has won several prizes.  She was twice nominated for a Pushcart Prize.  Carol has published seven books: Cornsilk, Tapestry of Secrets, The Nature of Music, Her Soup Made the Moon Weep, Blessing from an Unseen World, Dreaming Earth’s Body and The Gift of Not Finding: Poems for Meditation.

Carol Alena Aronoff's book of poetry, The Gift of Not Finding, is truly a meditative experience. Her poems breathe deep into the body.  She offers a visceral experience of the sacred and natural worlds...forgiveness shapes the temple...the rock lay bare glistening...the elixir of unspoken mystery….just rest.  There is rest in each of these poems, as the fluid beauty of her words pours out slowly, seductively revealing the divine.  Carol invites us to inhale her poetry into our bones, deep into our spirits. This is an experiential journey.  The Gift of Not Finding is a prayer to being present with the mystery and wonder of life, as it evolves moment by moment, breath by breath." -Bonnie Rose Marcus, The Luminosity
