About the Author

Shirley Parenteau is the author of three other books about the bears—Bears on Chairs, Bears in Beds, and Bears in the Bath, all illustrated by David Walker—as well as One Frog Sang, illustrated by Cynthia Jabar. Shirley Parenteau lives in California.

David Walker has illustrated many children’s books, including Shirley Parenteau’s three previous Bears adventures and two books about Peep and Ducky by David Martin. David Walker lives in North Carolina.
