Author of the Week: Katie Didit

Katie Didit was raised in Ohio and lived in several other areas of the U.S. before making Maui her home in 2002.  She has a strong connection with children and nature, and has worked in an educational setting for most of her career.  She enjoys the ocean, sunshine, warm climate, lush kaleidoscope of colors, and the beaty of nature that Maui has to offer.  When she’s not writing, you can find her whale watching, snorkeling, gardening, painting with watercolors, traveling and playing Mahjongg.  Katie has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in counselling, in which she is currently completing her Ph.D.  Katie has one son and several grandchildren, and loves to read to them. Katie Didit was raised in Ohio and lived in several other areas of the U.S. before making Maui her home in 2002.
