A guide to healing arts and self-empowerment, pidgen poetry, a 'lost gospel' of Christ's lost years and a horror novel.  Another wonderfully eclectic mash-up for Words and Wine on Tuesday.
Words & Wine: Tuesday April 3rd @ 6pm

Enjoy light pupus and refreshments, hear book readings and talk story with these local authors:

Maxima Forslund: Maxima Forslund

The book is a roadmap of her personal journey, but also a beacon for others on their own path.

Dennis Gregory: Dennis Gregory
Dennis is a writer, teacher, poet and singer.  His two books are: The Last God, a lost Gospel revealing that Jesus Christ's true father is a Persian Prince and Savior's Odyssey, the sequel which begins when Jesus is 56 years old living a boring life as a prince in Babylon.  Denny calls his books "A controversial, mind-changing, wild ride with Jesus."

Bradajo:Bradajo
Born on the Island of Kaua'i, Jozuf Hadley is also know as Bradajo (Brother Joe) for his books and recorded narrations of poetry and short stories in Hawaii's Pidgin English. Chaloookyu Eensai first appeared in 1972. Now considered a classic in this genre, it was recently reprinted and includes photos, a CD, and translations of the title piece in Hawaiian, English, Japanese, Tagalog and Chinese.

John ReesJohn G. Rees:
John G. Rees was a salvage diver in Honolulu in the 80's and 90's, getting a lot of research first hand.  This is his third horror novel, Black Tide, a journey, back in time to the beginning for protagonist Jake Strom. Hang on for another macabre ride as Jake comes to terms, sort of, with what he has become while doing the bidding of men whose minds are twisted with greed.
