 | Game Night.
|
Game Night is tonight, Friday, July 15th at 6pm! Bring your favorite game and meet some new friends. Elena Athena, our 'Angel Reader' is taking a vacation. Watch this space for when she's back (about the middle of August). Tuesday, July 19th at 6:30pm our Lesbian Group will watch the movie "Elena Undone" . "Elena Undone" is by turns sensual, smart and funny. Writer-director Nicole Conn's semi-autobiographical tale explores the contemporary landscape of connection and commitment. Packing for Mars by Mary Roach will be the topic at our next "Just the Facts" non-fiction group meeting on Tuesday July 26 at 6pm. "America's funniest science writer" ("Washington Post") returns to explore the irresistibly strange universe of life without gravity in this "New York Times" bestseller. It's all about those things NASA doesn't delve into at press conferences. Joy's money back guarantee for first-time participants in this book group: read the book, come to our discussion and if you don't like the book we'll give you your money back!
Anna Quindlen's latest book Every Last One will be the topic of discussion at "The Second Tuesday" group on Tuesday, August 9th at 6:30pm. This moving, suspenseful, and surprising novel follows a suburban family and the disastrous, unintended consequences of what seem like small, casual actions.
