Stephen Cline currently teaches writing and literature at Hawaii Community College.  His new book is Echoes Over Water: Celtic Britain is a long way from sunny Southern California, but, dizzied by the tragic-comedic events of his modern western life, Alan Griffin is determined to trace his eastern roots by reversing the voyage thirteen humdred years earlier by his ancestors, a band of vanished Celts.   


Shea Bintlif, MD is a poet, mother, and ER Shay Bintliffphysician. Her book of poetry, Soular Energy is dedicated to her granddaughter, Ileiana, who died in 2005 after a four year battle with cancer.  Dr. Shea has already donated over $5000 in proceeds from her book to Camp Anuenue, a camp for children with cancer.


Carla HannafordDr. Carla Hannaford is the author of Playing in the Unified Field: Raising and becoming Conscious, Creative Human Beings. Dr. Hannaford, Ph.D
is a biologist and educator with more than forty years teaching experience, including twenty years teaching biology at the university levelShe is also the author of the bestselling book, Smart Moves: Why Learning Is Not All In Your Head and Becoming Conscious, Creative Human Beings.
 
The Romance Angels with Doreen Virtue

Join Doreen Virtue at our lovely new venue as she guides you through a Valentines-inspired workshop about The Romance Angels - a group of cherubic angels specializing in bringing more playfulness, passion, and romance into your life. Doreen will guide you through divine guidance about your love life and conduct Angel Therapy(r) to dissolve any old issues that could be blocking your love life. Each paid participant will receive a copy of Doreen's new Archangels 101 book, which will help you to know which angel to call upon for any life situation. Doreen will answer questions, give readings, and sign books.

Mean Little Deaf Queer is the evocative title of our next Lesbian book.  Author Terry Galloway writes about her breakdowns, her queer identity, and living in a silent world populated by unforgettable characters.  We will meet Tuesday Feb 15 @ 6pm.


 
 "Just the Facts" is reading The War that Killed Achillies: The True Story of Homer's Iliad and the Trojan War by Caroline Alexander.  Written with the authority of a scholar and the vigor of a bestselling narrative historian, "The War that Killed Achilles" is a superb and utterly timely presentation of one of the timeless stories of Western civilization.  We will meet Tuesday, February  22 @ 5pm.
