| We have a really fun line-up of authors for 'Words & Wine" tomorrow, Tuesday, January 4th at 6pm. Come have some free wine & pupus and visit with these interesting local authors:
C.F. Ka'ai is native to Hawaii, has worked in the Hospitality/Travel industry and currently resides in West Hawaii. Her book is Peacegivers: Hawaiians, Masters of the Light. C.F Ka'ai has been aware of elements of the Peacegevers story since childhood as told by the Ancestors of Mu in spirit. This book tells a story of Light and shares an ancient message of peace, wisdom and a call to action.
Linda Tellington-Jones: author of 15 books about Ttouch; The Tellington Method utilizes a variety of techniques of touch, movement and body language to affect behavior, performance, and health, and to increase an animal's willingness and ability to learn in a painless and anxiety-free environment. Tonight we will feature: Getting in Ttouch with Your Dog. Linda is an internationally acclaimed authority on animal behavior, training and healing.
Charley and her person, Patricia Strafford, authors of Charley Makes a Movie, will be here with their children's books about Charley, a golden retriever who along with the neighborhood dogs manages to get into all kinds of adventures.
Julia Horn, author of All Rise: Break the Spell, has lived enough life in her 43 years to be twice that old. In her latest memoir, she tells of her time as a Chicago Public Defender, fund-raiser with the ultra-wealthy, as a religious sect member, and finally a semi-retired contented soul in the woods.
This is a free event! So, come and talk story with your talented neighbors; each author will do a short reading or talk.
Please let your author friends know about "Words & Wine". We host this event monthly to promote local or visiting authors. They can call (324-0350) or stop in to learn more and to get on the schedule. It's a lot of fun and a great way to promote any book.

2010 was a big year for us. Our move was the major event and lots of work, but we couldn't be more pleased with our new location and with the Keauhou Shopping Center. Many, many thanks again to our friends who helped us with all the various move activities and to our new and continuing customers. You're the reason we love what we do!
