We will discuss More of this World or Maybe Another by Barb Johnson at our next Lesbian group meeting on Tuesday Sept 21 at 6:30. "Just the Facts" is reading The Invention of Air: A story of Science, Faith   by Steven Johnson.  We will meet to discuss on Tuesday, Sept 28 at 6:30pm.  This book tells the story of Joseph Priestley--scientist and theologian, an 18th-century radical thinker who played pivotal roles in the invention of ecosystem science, the founding of the Unitarian Church, and the intellectual development of the U.S.

Aloha!
We're looking forward to our annual advoCATS fundraiser this Saturday.  advoCATS is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the well being of Hawaii's abandoned and homeless cat population.  In the last 10 years advoCATS has spayed and neutered over 9,000 cats on the Big Island!  If you can't make it to the event on Saturday, you can donate $ anytime you stop into Kona Stories or through their web-site: advoCATS.  If you can't donate $, they are always looking for more volunteers!
