Mike Taylor left his life in the mountains of Montana 30 years ago to live on the Big Island of Hawaii. There at the Aloha Theatre and Cafe, where Mike was the esteemed Technical Director, he met his wife, Marion, who baked the worlds best cookies.

Whether it was acting, directing, or teaching children, Mike was passionate about theatre for many years. You wouldn't know it from his books, but Mike is a very funny guy. Eventually, he and Marion settled in the Southern district of Ka'u, where Mike took to writing until all hours of the night, while Marion creates wonders at their Cafe, The Desert Rose.
