Stier, Wayne PDF Print E-mail

Wayne Stier was an actor, writer, sculptor, humorist, teacher, world traveler, whose mission in life was to look and to see, wherever he was, whoever he met, whatever he was doing. He published three previous books and numerous magazine articles. He lived with his wife, Mars Cavers, in Ocean View, Hawaii.

See Wayne's Art at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ly69UIudZZg.

Follow Wayne Stier’s memoir, Stars When the Sun Shines, brought an eclectic group together to celebrate the book’s arrival.  We took time to share personal stories about those times Wayne opened his heart and shared the fire that drove him to write and encourage other writers and thinkers.  The energy of this book has already reached hungry readers around Asia as well. They write frequently about “ah-ha” moments that come to them.  Wayne forces the reader to dig deep into ourselves to “get” the layers of meaning in the metaphorical language.

Since I represented Wayne at this celebration I was draped in flower lei.  The essence of these went everywhere. Thank you to the many people who made the first Hawaii book release party very special. And thanks to Brenda and Joy who generate the energy for all of us who depend on the resource of a great bookstore.
