 Lona Lyons has been a Big Island resident for the better part of 20 years. She is a non-denominational, independent minister whose focus is the awakening of humanity to its divine connection. This is translated into sacred ceremonies, spiritual life coaching, photography and writing. "The Magdalene Dispensation" is the first book in a trilogy and has been honored with a Best Books Award; Fresh Voices Award; and an Indie Excellence Award. The screenplay adaptation is ready for production and the second book in the trilogy is scheduled for publication in 2008. Lona's writing credits include numerous magazine and newspaper articles, training programs, and two stage plays.
