Understanding the Future: A Survivor's Guide to Riding the Cosmic Wave; The Major Astrological Predictions from Now to 2020 and How They Will Sh
by
Birkbeck, Lyn
The next dozen years are set to be the most momentous of our lives. As humanity stands at the crossroads between a continued descent into dark materialism and the spiritual path back to the light, a great cosmic event is about to force this elemental choice. This astonishing illustrated astrological analysis shows that the present alignment of Uranus and Pluto with the Earth has set in motion a powerful Planet-Wave that will peak in 2012, heralding a period in which we face a unique opportunity to forge our destinies. Drawing a compelling analogy with quantum physics, this theory sets out the ways in which we can ride the wave by looking back into history at similar moments from the past. |

This classic tiny book's adorable black-and-white illustrations accompany descriptive text that perfectly expresses the true meaning of friendship. Here is the book that Romeo would have given Juliet; Charlie Brown would have given Snoopy; and now friends of all ages can give this to their special someone. |

The Reserve
by
Banks, Russell
Another good book by the esteemed author of so many fine novels. Over the course of one summer month during 1936 in the Adirondacks, lives unravel and secrets are revealed in unexpected ways. Combining suspense and drama, Banks is in top form as he explores themes of old money, the working class, loyalty, love and honor. Finally, he illustrates how tenuous all our societal and familial roles truly are.--Sarah Bagby, Watermark Books (Wichita, KS) |
